Something you would typically see in the kitchen, is a popcorn maker. You definately wouldnt see anybody bring the actual appliance into a cinema, which is where this advertisement works well. The vibrant primary colours work well together, and really emphasise the green of the popcorn maker. The shot works well as a whole.
This shoot is a portrait/advertisement of a particular product. This product being Parliament Clothing brand. The jacket and top are modelled by Lindsay, a feminine grunge look, which Lindsay herself loves to wear day-to-day. I chose a bold colour to be present in the photograph, which brings it away from the black/white.
This is just a standard portrait. I love really shallow Depth of Field, shooting this on 2.8, I have "smoothened" out her skin, giving a more clean appearance. The lighting is soft, and typical to use in a head portrait with the f2.8. This particular shot was taken while I was making her laugh, much more natural and unforced.
This Shot is also portrait/advertising. A naturally beautiful model, works well when advertising a very expensive brand. Furla is a store in Manuka, very uptight, and expensive suburb. (it so happens i also work in Manuka haha). I liked to use the chandelier in the background, adding a bit of extra "sophistication". However, i seemed to have over-worked this photo in post-pro.
